SC Representative Wendell Gilliard is a life long Charlestonian and has been a consistent and outspoken voice for progress in our state. He served on Charleston City Council for 11 years before being elected to the State House. He has three children and currently serves as Special Advisor to the Mayor of Charleston. District 111 includes portion of West Ashley, downtown and N. Charleston.
Adrienne is a civil engineer running to advocate for the needs of South Carolina's young adults. When elected, Adrienne will be the first GenZ member of SC's State House and vows to represent the best interests of District 114 and ALL South Carolinians without bowing to special interest groups. District 114 covers much of outer West Ashley along Hwy 61 and Bees Ferry Rd.
John Moffett is a young and energetic candidate with a background leading advocacy groups for important causes, like conservation and healthcare access. District 110 which includes a small portion of West Ashley is among the most competitive seats in the SC legislature, and is currently represented by someone who is far too conservative for this moderate district; voting for harmful legislation like open carry and the total abortion ban.
Charlie Murray is a lifelong Charlestonian, born and raised in Hollywood, SC. He is running because he wants to improve the quality of life for his neighbors in this part of the Lowcountry, a place his family has always called home. Charlie feels that we must broaden our perspective and unify our district on the real issues such as traffic and infrastructure, development and affordable housing, public education, the environment, and small business.

Leon Stavrinakis currently serves as our State Representative for District 119 and is running for reelection. Leon's bipartisan leadership has consistently earned him support across party lines and from both pro-business and pro-environment groups. He is a lifelong Charlestonian and resides in West Ashley with his family.
Kristin Graziano is the first and only female Sheriff in the history of our state and we couldn't be more proud to have her serving Charleston County. In her first term, Kristin has made it possible for dozens of inmates to earn degrees while incarcerated. That makes it dramatically more likely they will have a successful reentry and contribute positively to our community upon the completion of their sentences.

David has dedicated his professional life to demanding justice for crime victims, making our streets safer while also ensuring equality and fairness in the criminal justice system.
Charleston County deserves an experienced coroner who will help keep our families safe and with thousands of hours of forensic investigative experience, Frank is the best person for the job. In addition to experience, Frank has a bachelor's degree in biology, master's degree in biomedical science specializing in DNA and a second master's degree in pharmacy, specializing in toxicology and forensic science.
Mary currently serves as Charleston County Treasurer and has worked tirelessly to modernize the Treasurer's Office by streamlining services, eliminating waste, and investing the county’s money wisely and responsibly. Charleston deserves a professional and experienced treasurer who puts taxpayers first and politics last and Mary has widespread bipartisan support.
Peter Tecklenburg was first elected Charleston County Auditor in 2012. As Auditor, Peter oversees the calculation of mileage for 43 tax districts and the preparation of over 750,000 property tax bills annually. A native of Charleston, Peter has always believed that public service is a noble calling and is proud to have been raised in a family that values community involvement.
Sydney is running because she wants a government that puts people first. She is focused on improving the county's infrastructure, creating attainable housing opportunities and preserving our environment. Sydney has lived in West Ashley for 14 years and her love for her community can only be matched by her love for the coastal land that we call home. District 7 includes a large portion of West Ashley in both 29407 and 29414.
